Al-KASIR

"ALKASIR," long-range laser guided missile system that serves as an effective antiarmour
solution, capable of neutralizing threats up to a range of 6km. ALKASIR system
features the advanced "Atlas" launcher, equipped with both infrared and CCD imaging
systems, enabling seamless day and night operations even in adverse weather
conditions. The distinguishing feature of Al-Kasir is its armour-piercing
(RHA) warhead, capable of penetrating up to 1300 mm. The missile is controlled and
guided using laser beams emitted from the launch platform, replacing
traditional wire-based data transmission with one-way infrared
laser technology. The Al-Kasir missile is launched from Atlas platform after
installation on either wheeled (Piranha) or tracked (M113)vehicles.
